About ShooterBug: It's About Two People

ShooterBug Photography is the creation of wife and husband team, Colleen Dagnall and Bob Federer, who have been working partners in the multimedia industry for the past 10 years. Together they cover all photographic requirements for those special days and events, with Colleen shooting stills and Bob shooting both stills and video.
Colleen Dagnall is a specialist in digital photographic services for corporate, travel, tourism, and the hospitality industries. In 2004, a series of her interior photos was published in Residence Magazine, a popular, high-quality European magazine featuring homes with stunning architectural detail and cutting edge interior design.
In 2005, her work was featured in the book "The Urban Loft" by Martin Myers, which tells the story of a couple's 15-year search for mid-city loft space and how they developed it. "The Urban Loft" is published by Fitzhenry & Whiteside. Colleen and Bob's work can also be seen in Lifestyle Maritimes Magazine, Nova Scotia's modern living magazine.
Colleen is an experienced commercial photographer, producing images for web sites, catalogues, brochures and other printed materials. Today, much of Colleen’s work is focused on portraiture and weddings. Her understanding of client needs and expectations, along with an intense attention to detail, helps to capture special events with breathtaking beauty – and sometimes laughter. All memories for a lifetime.
Bob Federer has a diversified background as a photographer, video photographer, graphic designer & web designer, winning over 70 international awards. His skill and professional approach turn abstract ideas into real life designs for an array of advertising, marketing, and corporate branding programs. Bob has done work for some of Canada’s most recognizable corporations, including The Royal Bank, Canadian Tire, Ford and Labatt. Bob was a studio recording engineer for the television and movie industries for many years and is an avid musician himself.
For ShooterBug Photography, Bob uses innovative techniques to create broadcast quality videos for weddings and other special events, producing living memories that can be enjoyed again and again.
